Mouse Source: The Traps of Mind and Matter

Welcome to Mousesource: Traps of Mind and Matter, the first in a series of educational TTRP one-shots where you play as mice learning about the natural world. These one-shots are completely free (though I won't say no to cheese) and can be used with the lesson plan or without as a mini adventure in your own DND campaign. 

In Traps of Mind and Matter, you are asked by your village leader to find a new home after Pleasant Prairie burns down. You will learn about how animals perceive a new habitat in terms of pros and cons, challenge the dangers each habitat holds, and decide on a new home for your fellow rodents.  The additional lesson plan goes over the real-life animal counterparts, some of the theories associated with habitat selection, and the types of habitats explored.

What's included:

- The prewritten adventure takes you across 4 habitats and premade challenges in 1-3 hours (Longer if the lesson plan is used).

- 4 Character sheets.

- 3 Enemy stat blocks.

- Cutout paper characters, enemies, and dice. 

- A lesson plan based on college-level resources and recommended for high school and maybe middle school students (use for younger grades based on your discretion and comprehension of the lesson plan). The lesson plan can be done after or before the adventure.

- 4 Magic items and a recommended plothook for the dungeon masters out there, items themed after each habitat.
