Learning game development to make an RPG mixed between Dark Souls and Skyrim. Elden Ring is actually a great example of what I'm going for in some ways. I want to combine the quests, characters, and atmosphere of an elder scrolls game, with the bosses, weapons, and unique areas of a souls-like. Skyrim was huge but started to feel the same in every location, dark souls feel unique everywhere you go but it forces you to fight every inch. I want to fix these two issues I have while creating an entirely new combat system as I've never found one I liked outside a call of duty game (And I'm trying very hard not to add guns to this).
